Tiger Camp Hotel in Corbett is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, in the state of Uttarakhand in North India. Tiger is a resort in The Corbett National Park which extends over 525 sq km, and is crisscrossed with several ridges and ravines. It is a large valley of dense deciduous forest with the beautiful Ramganga and Kosi Rivers flowing through its entire length and breadth. Its famous grasslands, or “chaurs”, offer the best opportunities to view wildlife. The elevation of the Park ranges from 410m to 1220m. Over 60 mammals and 30 reptilian species, including tigers, leopards, elephants, hog deer, sambhar, spotted deer, barking deer, rhesus, langur, jackal, fox, wild boar, sloth bear, black bear, crocodile, cobra and python, can be found here, along with almost 600 species of birds, including Great Hornbill, Pallas’s Fish Eagle, and Tawny and Brown Fish Owls.
